Marketmate – Democratizing ETP Trading
Marketmate was born out of frustration with existing, overly complicated trading platforms. The goal was to create a user-friendly and independent platform for trading Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs), providing both professional traders and consumers with a seamless, informed, and accessible trading experience.
Visionmate’s Solution
On behalf of Marketmate, Visionmate developed an innovative platform that aggregates ETPs from Europe’s largest banks, making them easily accessible to users. The platform combines real-time market information with advanced filtering and comparison tools, giving traders instant insights into the most attractive options.
To ensure speed and accuracy, advanced mathematical calculations were integrated to process real-time data from multiple streams. This was achieved using the following technologies:
- Backend in Java for robust data processing and real-time calculations.
- Frontend in React to deliver a modern and user-friendly interface.
- WordPress for integrating content management and enabling a flexible platform architecture.
Thanks to Marketmate’s partnerships with NGM and Spectrum, the platform offers real-time pricing data, while some other exchanges provide data with a 15-minute delay.
The Result
Through Visionmate’s technical expertise and Marketmate’s vision, we have together created Sweden’s largest comparison platform for Exchange-Traded Products. The platform enables users to:
